Cancellation and Refund Policy
Effective 01 January 2016

This policy applies to any event bearing the name or logo of the Cascade East Vegetation Management Conference (CEVMC) that requires a registration fee, vendor/exhibitor fee, training or material fee, or any other cost passed on to participants, from this point on referred to as fees.

This policy provides CEVMC event planners with a uniform and just procedure for granting and/or denying refunds to participants that register for, but do not attend CEVMC events.

 Cancellation by Participant
A.  Unless specifically stated on conference materials, the deadline to request a refund is five (5) business days prior to the start of the event.
B.  Cancellations received prior to the deadline are eligible to receive a full or partial refund, less applicable processing fees.
C.  Cancellations will be accepted via telephone, e-mail or US Mail, and must be received by the stated cancellation deadline.
D.  Refund requests must include the name of the attendee and/or transaction number.
E.  Refunds will be credited back to the original credit/debit card used for payment, less processing fees. For all other payments, a refund check will be issued to the person/agency who issued the original payment.
F.  Full or partial refunds will be considered after the deadline in the event of a national, regional or local disaster which prevents the participant from attending, or a medical or family emergency occurs.
G.  Participant substitutions are allowed with notification one day prior to the event.

Cancellation by Sponsor

  • CEVMC reserves the right to cancel an event due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable.
  • If CEVMC event planners cancel an event, participants will be offered a full refund.
  • Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of an event, CEVMC has the right to either issue a full refund or transfer registration to the same event at the new, future date.
